Returns Policy

1. Overview
This Returns Policy explains how returns work for products and services provided by Sun Cluster Inc. ("Sun Cluster", "we", "our", or "us"). Sun Cluster Inc. is a Canadian software engineering company located at 1338 Wellington Street West, Unit 10, Ottawa, Ontario, K1Y 3B7, Canada.
Sun Cluster sells and delivers digital products and services (software subscriptions, single-client deployments, and custom software engineering). We do not sell physical goods. As a result, there is generally nothing to physically return.
2. No Physical Goods; Returns Not Applicable
Because our offerings are digital and/or service-based, we do not accept returns in the traditional sense (for example, shipping an item back). Instead, issues are handled through remedies such as fixes, rework, service credits (where applicable), or refunds in limited situations as described in our Refund Policy.
3. Remedies for Defects or Service Issues
If you believe a delivered digital product, deployment, or service is defective or not functioning as described, please contact us. Our primary remedy is to investigate and, where appropriate, provide a fix, patch, configuration change, or rework consistent with the applicable agreement.
For subscriptions: we may provide support to resolve the issue and, in some cases, offer a service credit at our discretion for sustained outages caused by Sun Cluster.
For setup/deployment work: we will work to complete the setup scope and address defects within the agreed acceptance criteria.
For custom projects: remedies are governed by the statement of work (SOW), including correction/rework for accepted milestones.
4. Items That Cannot Be Returned
The following cannot be returned, because they are not physical goods:
- Custom software development time and professional services already performed.
- Downloaded, accessed, or delivered digital materials, code, documentation, or configuration artifacts, except where a written agreement provides otherwise.
- Third-party fees (broker/exchange fees, cloud hosting, domain fees, data provider fees) paid to third parties.
5. Relationship to Refunds and Cancellations

6. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Returns Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws that apply to your purchase. Where the law requires a specific remedy (for example, for defective goods or certain contract types), we will comply.
